This series of lessons engages K-9 students in the technical and contextual concepts related to data privacy. These lessons were created in collaboration with Stephanie Nguyen and piloted with the Girl Scouts of Massachusetts. Learn more about the project in this blog post.

The materials are available open source.

Example slides from lessons in which students 1) Determine who the "mystery user" of a YouTube Recommendation page is, 2) create transparent ads, and 3) understand how consent can be designed into online platforms.
